Prayer James 5:14-15 gives one of the most direct commands in scripture about praying for healing: > “Is anyone among you sick? And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well.” Jesus healed constantly throughout the Gospels — the blind, the paralyzed, the chronically ill, the dying. He never once told someone their illness was what God wanted for them. He healed. That doesn’t mean God heals everyone, every time, in the way we want.
