Lord, life is hard right now. Not in a single dramatic way — just in a persistent, wearing way. I’m tired in a way that sleep doesn’t fix. I’m carrying things that haven’t resolved. And I’m finding it harder to be hopeful than I was a while ago.
I’m not giving up. But I need You close. Not a distant, theological God — close. Present in the ordinary moments where the hardness lives.
Remind me that You are not only God in the highlights. You’re here in the middle of this ordinary, difficult season. That You see what I’m carrying and haven’t looked away. That endurance is not the same as being abandoned.
Hold me while I keep going.

Prayer for When You’re Tired of Being Strong
God, I’m tired of carrying this. I’ve been resilient for a long time and the resilience is running out. I don’t feel strong anymore, and I’m not sure how much longer I can keep showing up the way I have been.
I need to not be strong for a minute. I need to be held instead. So here I am, putting down the performance of having it together, and just asking You to be near.
This is hard. And I need You. That’s the whole prayer.
