While I wait, help me not to let the rejections define my worth. Each “no” is not a verdict on my value. Protect my confidence and my sense of purpose in the hard stretches.

And provide for what I need in the meantime. You know the bills. You know the pressure. You know what tomorrow needs.

Prayer When Job Searching Feels Hopeless

God, I’m starting to lose hope. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if the timing is just not right, but the waiting has become exhausting. I’m running low on confidence and I’m running low on resources.

I need a breakthrough. Not just motivation — an actual breakthrough. An introduction, an opportunity, a connection I couldn’t have manufactured on my own.

While I wait for that, fill me with the patience to keep going. Give me the energy to keep showing up for the process even when it’s demoralizing. And remind me that my identity is not my job title — my worth doesn’t depend on being employed.

But please, Lord — open a door. Soon.
