It’s built—sometimes slowly, sometimes painfully, always honestly. If you’re struggling to trust God right now, you’re not failing at faith. to Trust God — Lord, I’m going to be honest with You: trust does not come easily to me right now. I have questions I can’t answer. I have situations I don’t understand. I have prayers that feel like they’ve hit the ceiling, and I’m not sure what to do with that. I want to trust You. I believe, at some level, that You are good—but I need help trusting that goodness when my circumstances don’t reflect it. Help me to release the grip I have on outcomes. Help me to stop trying to control everything as a way of managing my fear. Help me to believe, really believe, that Your ways are higher than mine—not as a platitude, but as something I can actually rest in. Where I’ve been hurt, begin to heal that.
