Prayer for Infertility

Lord, I am longing for a child. This desire is deep and it is real, and the months of waiting and hoping and being disappointed have worn me down in ways I struggle to describe.

I know You see this longing. I know You are not indifferent to it. But I need You close in the waiting — especially in the moments when hope is hardest to hold onto.

I bring my grief to You. The disappointments. The medical appointments and procedures. The baby announcements from others that feel like small cuts. I’m not angry at You — or maybe I am a little, and I trust You can hold that too.

I’m asking for a child. And I’m asking for the grace to keep trusting You if the answer takes longer than I can imagine.

Prayer for Peace in the Season of Waiting

God, the waiting is the hardest part. I know I need to trust Your timing — but living in that truth while the longing doesn’t go away is genuinely difficult.

Help me not to put my life on hold while I wait. Help me be present in the life I have, grateful for what is good, while still honestly holding the hope for what I’m asking for.

I trust You with my family — with its size, its shape, its story. I trust that You have not forgotten me and that Your plans for me are good, even when I cannot see them.

Sustain me in the waiting. That’s my prayer today.
