Jeremiah 29:11:
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
This promise was given to exiles who had lost everything. God spoke hope into their uncertainty, not by removing the unknown but by assuring them of his intent.

God, I am afraid of what is coming. The uncertainty feels like a weight on my chest. I keep trying to figure it out — running scenarios, making plans, bracing for the worst — and none of it is giving me peace.
