1. John 3:16

The most famous verse in the Bible, and still worth sitting with. The world includes you. Whoever believes includes you. God didn’t send Jesus for humanity in the abstract — He sent Him for specific people. One of them is you.

2. Romans 8:38-39

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Paul lists everything he can think of — every cosmic power, every dimension of time, every force in existence — and says none of it can cut you off from God’s love. That includes your worst day. That includes the thing you’re most ashamed of.
