Lord, I need comfort. Not advice, not solutions, not a pep talk — just comfort. I’m hurting and I feel fragile and I need to know that someone bigger than me is holding me together.
Wrap Your arms around me. Let me feel Your presence in a way that’s tangible and real. Quiet the noise in my head and let me rest in the knowledge that You see my pain and You care.
I don’t have to be strong right now. I just need to be held.
